AMOUD UNIVERSITY INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY Non-Exclusive Distribution and Preservation Licence Effective: 20 May 2026 By submitting this deposit, you (the author or authorised depositor) grant Amoud University the rights set out below with respect to your submission. This is a licence, not a transfer of copyright -- you remain the copyright holder. 1. Right to reproduce, distribute, and translate. You grant Amoud University the non-exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, and translate your submission -- including any abstract -- worldwide, in print and electronic format and in any medium, including but not limited to audio or video. 2. Right to migrate for preservation. You agree that Amoud University may, without changing the content, migrate your submission to any medium or file format for the purpose of long-term preservation. 3. Right to retain multiple copies. You agree that Amoud University may keep more than one copy of your submission for purposes of security, back-up, and preservation, including off-site backups. 4. Original work warranty. You represent that the submission is your original work and that you have the right to grant the rights contained in this licence. You also represent that, to the best of your knowledge, your submission does not infringe upon any third party's copyright or other rights. 5. Third-party material. If your submission contains material for which you do not hold copyright, you represent that you have obtained the unrestricted permission of the copyright owner to grant Amoud University the rights set out in this licence, and that any such third-party material is clearly identified and acknowledged within the submission. 6. Sponsor obligations. If your submission is based on work sponsored or supported by an agency other than Amoud University, you represent that you have fulfilled any right of review or other obligations required by that contract or agreement. 7. Attribution and citation. Amoud University will clearly identify you as the author of the submission and will make no alteration to the content other than as permitted by this licence. The submission will be cited by its persistent identifier (ARK, and where assigned, DOI). 8. Withdrawal. You may request withdrawal of your submission at any time by emailing repository@amoud.edu.so. Withdrawn items are placed in a non-public state for audit purposes; they are not erased. By accepting this licence (clicking "I Grant the Licence" on the deposit form), you confirm that you have read and agree to its terms.
